Purchase Advice: When starting off shooting photography underwater there are two choices to make; Do you want to take pictures just for vacation memories or do you want to be able to make memories and art? If you want to do the latter, then you will want a camera system with interchangeable lens. Each lens will provide superior optical quality and help you as the photographer to create the desired composition you have envisioned. For this reason, I purchased the most affordable camera system with interchangeable lens on the market. It was slightly more expensive than a typical compact point and shoot camera system, but the image quality is far superior. I can choose the type of wildlife or reef scape I would like to shoot on the dive and choose an appropriate lens configuration that will enable the composition I am envisioning.
